One of our basic fears of the unknown. The unknown resides in the future so we typically tend to make decisions based on WHAT’S known. The problem with the “known” it resides in the past so we tend to repeat known habits. Heck we’ll repeat those habits even if they’re uncomfortable rather than risk the unknown future.
